The Alpinestars Atem V4 Leather Motorcycle Suit is a fully Category 2, AAA CE-certified, technical one-piece Bovine Leather Racing and Performance suit which offers class-leading protection for the street and track.

• The Alpinestars Atem V4 Leather Motorcycle Suit has a main chassis constructed from 1.3mm genuine Bovine Leather with High Resistant Stretch Fabric (HRSF) strategically positioned for comfort. This Polyamide stretch material has been included on the Shoulders, inner sleeve, Chest, Crotch and Calf. For further rider comfort, extended localised perforations have been included for improved ventilation and there is also a low profile collar with soft edging for enhanced rider comfort.

For rider safety, Alpinestars GP-R Armour on the Shoulders, Elbows and Knees have been included, with Nucleon Flex Racing Hip Protectors also used. There is also the option of adding Alpinestars Nucleon KR-R Back Protector and Nucleon KR-CiR Chest Protector as upgrades if required. In addition to the armour offered, Aramidic Knit inner reinforcement has been included in the Seat, Shoulders, Elbows and Knees has been included for additional abrasion resistance, along with inner Leather reinforcement on the seat area, Shoulders, Elbows, Knees and Shins. The Suit also has high frequency reflective inserts included on the Shoulders to increase rider visibility for other road users, which is helpful when riding in poor, low or night time light riding conditions. As a result of the high quality rider protection on offer with this suit, it has been awarded Category 2, AAA full CE certification under PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 (performance riding garment). CE Certification AAA rating is the highest level, demanding four seconds of abrasion resistance with the machine spinning at 707.4rpm (the equivalent of 120km/h) in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees), two seconds at 442.1rpm (about 75km/h) in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and one second at 265rpm (around 45km/h) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).

Additional features include Calf expansion which allows riders to adjust the fit for the highest level comfort, and YKK zips have been used on the front, cuff and ankle for a secure closure. There is also an extended stretch area on the outer Cuff and Collar with 3D mesh and an inner waterproof document pocket for important belongings.
